Questing about Trading - Guild Wars Forums

I must be doing something wrong. WHere are all the potential trading partners ? Whenever i try to sell something in the "Trade" channel, nobody responds.

Is there somekind of district thats particularly for trading, or is it because i am still a pre-searing character ?

Any help is greatly apreciated !

There isn't a whole lot of trading in pre-searing from what I've seen. Once you get to post-searing Ascalon, that place is pretty popular for trading. It still isn't exactly easy though. Trading isn't that big a part of this game unless you're looking to rip off new people, or occasionally you or someone else will need a certain item/upgrade/weapon.

Once you get to post-searing, go to Ascalon district 1. There are a whole lot of people there.

I sold a Ram's Hammer in presearing for 25g. It took some time, but eventually someone came. Apparently he was there by accident and wanted to quest with me. I pressured him into buying it and then quested with him

Anywho, I suggest going from district to discrict, perhaps even prepare a little sale speech (I used notepad for mine and pasted the lines I had prepared into GW's trade channel) or go for the simple approach:

Ram's Hammer | 7-11 DMG | +10% DMG | 25G @ Training Ground Ascalon City
